My name is Wilfried Vianney Poukoule, researcher and student in Anthropology at the University of Bangui. I have finished the first year of my two year master’s programme. I followed a large variety of courses to obtain my diploma in Anthropology. An important research I carried out was on children who were victims of witchcraft accusations; this was in 2012, the year in which the crisis in the Central African Republic started.
Recently I started conducting research in the project ‘Being young in times of duress in the Central African Republic’. This study allows shedding light on the situation of children and youth in a context of persistent crisis in the Central African Republic. More specifically my research is concerned with the topic: ‘Violence against children in the context of armed conflict in the Nana-Gribizi prefecture’, a region which is the basis of rebel groups who tend to march towards Bangui in order to take power.
Je suis Wilfried Vianney Poukoule, Etudiant-Chercheur en Anthropologie à l’Université de Bangui. Titulaire d’un Master I. Dans le cadre de mes études Universitaire, j’ai mené un certains nombres de cours afin d’obtenir le diplôme en Anthropologie. Durant mes parcours universitaires j’ai effectué une recherche sur les enfants victimes des accusations en la sorcellerie en 2012 l’année à laquelle la crise Centrafricaine a commencé.
Ensuite, j’ai mené une étude sur le thème ‘Etre jeunes en période de conflit armé en RCA / Being young in times of duress in the Central African Republic’. Cette étude a permis de mettre en lumière la situation des jeunes (enfants) au contexte des crises que la Centrafrique a connu depuis toujours. De même, je travaille sur le thème : « Violences à l’égard des enfants dans le contexte de conflits armés dans la préfecture de la Nana-Gribizi », une préfecture qui est le basant des groupes rebelles qui ont tendance à marcher vers Bangui dans l’objectif de prendre le pouvoir.
