FISH MALI Festival, Bamako, 13th-20th March 2017

Working with AMALDEME, a school for children with disabilities

The Festival International de Slam et Humour du Mali – FISH MALI is an international festival that promotes an intercultural dialogue and education to the values of peace among young people, using cultural and artistic activities.

From the 13th to the 20th of March the 2017 edition of FISH MALI took place in Bamako.  Slam competitions, panel discussions, concerts and workshops animated the Malian capital city, gathering participants from Mali, West and Central Africa, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Voice4Thought was present thanks to Cindy van der Aa, who represented the fine arts section of Voice4Thought collaborating with the Malian artists and taking part in a painting workshop with AMALDEME, a school for disabled children, and Croquemort, who performed as a special guest and took part in the panel discussion.
