Academic / professional background
I hold an M.Sc in Political Communication and an M.Phil in African Studies, for which I did fieldwork in Mozambique and Burkina Faso respectively. My research interests lie in social (protest) movements, new Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), and political engagement. Since 2008, I have been working for the WageIndicator Foundation as a Global Communications and Reporting Assistant. In 2016, I joined Both ENDS as the Africa Officer.
What does Voice4Thought mean to you?
A Voice for Thought to me means a voice– individual or collective– that invites but also often forces you to listen to what it has to say: it can make you think critically and turn around entire ways of doing things.
