Project manager Voice4Thought Académie Mali
Modibo Galy Cissé is a Malian sociologist and anthropologist, currently serving as the project manager at Voice4Thought Académie in Mali. He holds a Master’s degree in sociology and a postgraduate degree in anthropology.
In addition to his role at Voice4Thought, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Human Sciences and Educational Sciences at a public university in Bamako. He is also pursuing a PhD at Leiden University, focusing on security and community issues in the Central Delta of the Niger River in Mali—a region affected by conflicts related to terrorism and jihadism.
Cissé has been actively involved in various qualitative research projects addressing conflict and resource management in Mali. His doctoral research centers on security challenges in central Mali and intra-African migration.
Through his work at Voice4Thought Académie, Modibo deals with a large number of teachers and participants who partake in the Academy, spread out through many regions of Mali.
