From Amsterdam, Netherlands
Academic / professional background
I hold an M.Sc in Political Communication and an M.Phil in African Studies. My interests and academic background lie in social (protest) movements, new ICTs and political engagement. Next to Voice4Thought I volunteer at the WageIndicator Foundation and het Actiefonds. In 2016, I joined Both ENDS as the Africa Officer where I coordinate a project in the Sahel on land restoration and work on mining and fossil fuels. At V4T I assist the team of the Academy in Mali with Monitoring & Evaluation and in the Netherlands with daily management and administration.
What does Voice4Thought mean to you?
A Voice for Thought to me means a voice– individual or collective– that invites but also often forces you to listen to what it has to say: it can make you think critically and turn around entire ways of doing things.
