e-Arts embraces the power of images, sound and music, and triggers scientists and artists to explore the use of new media to reach out to a wider audience and to tap into new possibilities of co-creation, accessing content, sampling and other innovations. In the academic world, which is geared mainly towards text, this potential is still underestimated, thus V4T’s multi-medial approach can bring about real change.
