In the Summer of 2014 the LAK gallery made a new start under the wings of the Faculty of Humanities of Leiden University. In collaboration with the student union of the study Art History, a commission was founded for the daily administration of the gallery. This new construction required a name-change: the gallery on the ground level of the Lipsius is now called Kunstgang.
The Kunstgang is run by five art history students and one art historian. The commission aims to offer a platform for artists who recently graduated from an art academy.
