What started out as a way to follow the endeavours of Mirjam de Bruijn and Sjoerd Sijsma as they set out to make a documentary about counter voices in the research region (Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon, CAR, DRC, Mali and Uganda) of Connecting in Times of Duress, grew out into the V4T project.
They initially saw counter voices -or voices for thought – as young people trying to change their countries in their own specific way. By engaging in politics, photography, music, writing, human rights advocacy, etc.
