Academic / professional background:
I started my academic endeavours at the University of Leiden, in the Bachelor’s Programme in African Languages and Cultures. My main interest was in linguistics, with a focus on Khoisan languages. I am currently completing a Research Master’s degree in African Studies, where I am conducting research.
What does Voice4Thought mean to you?
For me personally, Voice4Thought is a mental, physical and/or virtual place where people are invited to come together to talk and listen to each other, express ideas, and share stories openly. It is where new knowledge is freely co-created, disclosed in many forms, and leaving people feeling richer than they did when they first entered the room.
